The British Columbia Coroners results have revealed that Cory Monteith,31 died of a deadly and toxic mixture of heroin and alcohol.”At this point there is no evidence to suggest Mr. Monteith’s death was anything other than a most-tragic accident.” Cory was found dead in a Vancouver hotel after he failed to make his noon checkout time. He had been very vocal with his past substance abuse problem even entering rehab earlier this year. Cory began using drugs when he was 13 and by 19 had entered rehab.
Police spokesman Constable Brian Montague said, “There was evidence in the room that was consistent with a drug overdose.” Cory’s girlfriend/Glee co-star, Lea Michele rep released a statement, “Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans. Since Cory’s passing, Lea has been grieving alongside his family and making appropriate arrangements with them. They are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together. We continue to ask the media to respect the privacy of Lea and Cory’s family.” The couple dated for over a year!
