The controversy has finally calmed down! Dakota Johnson spotted with ‘Fifty Shades of Grey‘ author E.L. James over the weekend in NYC. James popped in to see Dakota while she has been filming, Cymbeline in NYC. She tweeted about her encounter with her new Anastasia Steele. “The beautiful, talented, funny as feck, Dakota Johnson. Oh and that bloke @danabrunetti.”
Charlie Hunnam on the other hand was promoting his FX TV show, Sons of Anarchy’s sixth season premiere in Hollywood over the weekend. Charlie is excited for his role as Christian Grey, after initially turning down the role, he tells Access. “It was incredibly exciting. I feel really honored and excited to be entrusted with the job of bringing this wonderful character to life. As soon as we started reading it I felt certain that I could bring this guy to life in a very honest and exciting way, and there would be a real dynamic between Dakota and myself. When they called me and told me, ‘We would love you to do this,’ the first question I asked was, ‘It’ll be Dakota, right?’ It just felt like we had a real chemistry in that reading.”
