‘Dancing With The Stars’ sent two couples packing the week! In a surprise double elimination swimmer Diana Nyad and her partner Henry Byalikov were eliminated at the beginning of the show. Later in the night Sean Avery and professional dancer Karina Smirnoff were eliminated. Smirnoff only wished her partner had more time to show off his personality, “Sean was amazing. I wish we had an opportunity to see more of his personality.”
Nyad also wished her dance moves could have kept her dance partner in the competition. “For nine years I wanted to be on the show. It’s joy, it’s freedom. I only wish this superlative, handsome young man – He’s elegant and he’s brilliant and I wish I could have given him a couple more weeks.”
So many changes on the new season…new band, co-host, rules and now a surprise double elimination, whats next?
