Demi Lovato is looking bad*ss and sexy on the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine, but she’s dealing with a little backlash…but it’s not personal. See the The National Center on Sexual Exploitation launched a new initiative to get Cosmo covered for “Cosmo Harms Minors” —as in a plastic bag ala Playboy— to hide the sexy covers from kids. “Cosmopolitan magazine glamorizes things like public, anal, group, or violent sex in nearly all of their issues. We are asking that Cosmo be sold to adults only and have the cover wrapped like all other porn magazines in retail shops.” Rite Aid and Food Lion have begun the practice.
Well that would mean all of Demi’s sexiness would be covered up and she’s upset. “What these individuals who are protesting don’t understand is that for the first time in a long time I feel incredibly EMPOWERED and the MOST BEAUTIFUL I’ve ever felt on this magazine,” she shared on Instagram. “It’s so liberating to be able to show the world how confident a woman can be once she learns to love herself.”
