Drake may be a top rapper, but the Canadian started off his career in acting and he might be making a return. Drake just dropped his anticipated short film titled Please Forgive Me only Apple Music. The 23 minute mini movie filmed by Anthony Mandler was inspired by Drake’s album Views and stars Popcaan, Fanny Neguesha, Soni Chidiebere, and Kyla Reid.
According to Billboard, Please Forgive Me was filmedin Soweto township in Johannesburg, South Africa, over the summer and pulls from movies like Indecent Proposal, The Bourne Identity and Taken.
Not sure how Views inspired a violent type of film with songs like ‘One Dance’ and ‘Hotline Bling,’ but Drake’s acting looks good. We think Drakes’ next moves will be in acting!
