Fergie has put her solo album on hold for a little bit longer to spend some quality time with her husband and clean her closet! Fergie has been on tour for a while down and it just time to relax with the hubby, Josh Duhamel and give away stuff from her closet to her gal pals!

“I’ve got a lot on my plate and this year is more about simplifying and really paying attention to the projects that I have on my plate and spending some time with the hubby, you know?” the “Glamorous” pop star told Access Hollywood when asked about her future solo album plans, at Avon’s Global Believe Tour at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday.

“And cleaning out my closet,” she added. “That’s been a big thing this year — huge for me — purging and splurging… I finally am at the place where I’m letting it go, I’m cleaning things out and I’m starting to make more purchases for myself.”

While parting with her couture collections has been a bit painful, Fergie says she’s finally gotten “in” with the age-old idea of relinquishing items she hasn’t worn in over a year.

“It took me a long time because I saved everything, and you know how long I’ve been on tour, so this space and this time off has given me a little time to do that and it’s cleansing,” she told Access. “It feels so good. We have this room in my house called the purge room — it’s actually a guest bedroom that my mom always stays in — but we have all the boxes in there and I put music on, get some wine out. I have a full-length mirror and all the girls come over and just have like, a little trying on clothes party.

“It’s a shopping spree for free,” Fergie continued. “I get to see it all go and I just get to hang out with them and it’s lovely.”

I would love to be her friend even though I am not her size!!
