After 13 years together and two kids Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton have split. The couple, who were never married, “separated amicably earlier this year and have continued to be friends and co-parent their children,” Carter’s rep told People. “We would ask that you respect their privacy and that of their children during this time.”
The couple have two children together, a son, Billy, 11, and daughter Nell, 7. The duo met on the set of 2001’s Planet of the Apes and Carter went on to star in a few of Burton’s movies like, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Alice in Wonderland and Dark Shadows.
