According to Hollywood Life talked about being a powerful woman,

At Good Housekeeping’s ‘Shine On’ event at The New York City Center on Apr. 12, Jessica said, “Us being here together as powerful women … we’re just going to keep changing the world and dominating men.” We’re so happy to hear that your world travels for The Price Of Beauty have made you such a strong woman!

“We are celebrating women that can change the world and have changed the world and who made a huge impact,” adds Jessica. “I don’t know if we’ve had that in a really long time.”

Jess also discussed her recent no makeup Marie Claire cover…

“I absolutely was not wearing makeup,” she told Monday at a Good Housekeeping bash in NYC. “Look at the cover — you can tell! My nose has been broken a couple of times. If you look at a retouched cover of me and you look at the Marie Claire cover, you can see there’s a big difference.”

“I really wanted to show women that I’m just a normal person,” she said. “I take the pictures. I don’t know what the magazine is going to do with it after that. I don’t know what the photographer is going to do with it after that, so it was important for me to make sure that they absolutely did not retouch. I just wanted people to see how I really am.”
