‘Jersey Shore’ star Mike Sorrentino Slapped With Tax Evasion Indictment!

The Situation is definitely in a situation! The Jersey Shore star Mike Sorrentino and his brother are accused of underpaying taxes on almost $9 million in income over the past few years the U.S. attorney’s office revealed on Wednesday. In the indictment the brothers are accused earned about $8.9 million between 2010 and 2012 through their two companies, MPS Entertainment and Situation Nation. They allegedly falsely filled out documents that in which they underestimated how much they made in the businesses and their personal income.  Mike is accused of not even filing a tax return for 2011 when he made almost $2 million in income. They are also accused of claiming fake business expenses that were in fact personal expenses. The U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman said, “The brothers allegedly also claimed costly clothes and cars as business expenses and funneled company money into personal accounts.”

The guys could face up to three years in prison for conspiracy, false filings and failing to file.
