Casey Abrams was eliminated yesterday from American Idol and as he sang his swan song he sang a few lyrics to to his fellow contestant, Haley Reinhart igniting the rumors that they were dating! Hmmm,but Casey is shooting down those rumors calling Haley just a friend.
Eliminated American Idol contestant Casey Abrams appeared to have confirmed rumors of a behind-the-scenes romance when he sang the words “you’re mine” to fellow contestant Haley Reinhart on last night’s show. But Casey now tells Life & Style they are just friends. “I was just saying goodbye to my very special musical friend,” Casey tells Life & Style. “That’s all that was.”
Despite winning the judges’ save vote earlier in the competition, the shaggy yet suave Casey, 20, of Idyllwild, Calif., failed to make the Top 5 when America voted him out on last night’s results show. Even though Casey walks away without the title and without love (“We are not a romantic couple, we were never dating,” he reconfirms about Haley, 20), the charming musician has no regrets. “The experience of living with all these other serious singers, that really made the experience what it is,” he says. “That’s what I will miss most about it, to be honest.”
I don’t believe him…
