Elisabeth Hasselbeck waited a while to to announce she was leaving The View although it was rumored she would be leaving. Elisabeth already has her new gig lined up on Fox & Friends on the Fox Network according to The Hollywood Reporter. Barbara Walters said, “We have had 10 wonderful years with Elisabeth, and she will now be swimming in new waters.”We will miss her and wish her everything good.”
FOX News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes also added. “Elisabeth’s warm and engaging personality made her a star on The View. She has proven to be an excellent conversationalist, and I am certain she will make a great addition to our already successful morning franchise.” “I have been a longtime fan of Fox & Friends and am excited to be joining their team in September. It is an honor to call the Fox News Channel my new television home,” Elisabeth said of her new gig.
