Just three months after Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana welcomed their son, the duo have called it quits. According to a new report the split was amicable according to the Dailymail. “They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart. It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.”
But according to Page Six there had been trouble in the relationship. “She thought he had become too controlling during the pregnancy and she had already allowed him to dictate her appearance and even the way she performed at concerts,” a source said. Al Mana reportedly wanted Janet to tone down her revealing tour looks and she’s even cut back on her sexy videos. “It drove her crazy and she felt she was losing her fan base.”
Jackson had moved to London to appease Al Mana who wanted the family to live under strict Muslim custom, which prohibit snew mothers from being seen in public while nursing. But it was when Katherine Jackson claimed elder abuse against nephew Trent that upset Janet. Al Mana reportedly reluctantly showed concern for the elder Jackson.
The couple’s son Eissa Al Mana was born on January 3, 2017 after almost five years of marriage.
