Roc Nation is turning the tables on Rita Ora after she filed a lawsuit wanting out of her contract. Roc Nation is contersuing the pop star for breaking her contract and failing to record the five albums originally statement in her contract. Rita only released Ora, in 2012. Roc Nation wants the $2.4 million they pumped into Rita’s  sophomore album that has been shelved.

Rita’s lawsuit claims Jay Z Roc Nation’s pursuits have shifted to his sports agency and Tidal and left her in the dust, but its all technical. According to a statement from Ora’s attorney Howard King to USA TODAY, “we believe that Roc Nation’s distributor, Sony Music, has required Roc Nation to file this action to preserve whatever rights Sony might have pending resolution. Jay Z has personally and graciously promised Rita complete freedom from Roc Nation, the details of which are now being finalized.”
