Jessica Simpson wants to set the rumors straight, she is not upset that Nick Lachey is engaged, actually she is really happy for him and Vanessa! I think that Jessica is fine with it…I mean she dumped him so, what does she care!
“I don’t know where all these rumors came from,” Simpson said while on KIIS FM’s On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, reacting to the reports that she was less than thrilled with her ex-husband’s engagement news. “I couldn’t be more happy for Nick. Our relationship was over a really long time ago. So, it’d be nice if everyone could move on with us, and really celebrate the love between him and Vanessa.”
She added, “I wish them nothing but the best.” Simpson also commented on her new beau, former NFL player Eric Johnson, and their plans for the holidays. “I know [Eric’s] family is going to be with us on the float at the [Thanksgiving] Macy’s Day Parade,” she told Seacrest.
