So sad, Jim Carrey’s girlfriend Cathriona White committed suicide following their alleged breakup yesterday. According to TMZ, The 28-year-old model was found unresponsive in her apartment by two friends. She had pills near her body and a suicide note. Police believe she likely overdosed on drugs.
Jim released a statement saying, “I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt.”
The couple met in 2012, dated a few months and then split, they later started their relationship back up in May before allegedly splitting again in September.
