Gray Line New York Sightseeing Tours Honors Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers and WE TV's "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?" Season 3 Premiere on March 1, 2013

Sadly Joan Rivers has passed away at the age of 81. The comedian known for her crass sense of humor passed away today according to her daughter, Melissa.”It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers,” daughter Melissa said in a statement.

“She passed peacefully at 1:17pm surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Mount Sinai Hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother. Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from around the world. They have been heard and appreciated.”

“My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.”

Such sad news I thought she would make it! Joan was hospitalized just last week after suffering from a vocal chord surgery complication when she stopped breathing and went into cardiac arrest.

E! has halted production of the show Fashion Police. “E! will not be producing a new ‘Fashion Police’ this week or next. Instead, we will be airing two ‘E! From Fashion Week’ specials that will deliver the latest news and information from the highly-anticipated event.” But now it’s unclear what will happen to the show.
