Julie Chen, of The Talk is slamming The View‘s decision to hire Jenny McCarthy as one of the co-hosts after Joy Behar and Elizabeth Hasselback left the show. Julie stopped by The Howard Stern show a talked about her show rivals’ “mistake” with hiring McCarthy. “What made ‘The View’ so popular and so good was that you had five different women from different walks of life discussing politics. And when they … whatever happened … when Joy left and when Elisabeth left and they got Jenny in, I think they were trying to lighten the mood at the table … more gossip, more fun more laughs.”
“No one wants to hear Jenny McCarthy talk about the New York mayoral race and politics. That’s not what you put Jenny McCarthy on for.” Wow…she did add that “beautiful and funny and talented and smart.” Is everyone being rough on Jenny or is she right and maybe jenny was not right for The View?
