Justin Bieber…may not have been drag racing after all! The Miami Police originally said that Justin Bieber and friend Khalil were drag racing at the time of his arrest, but he was actually under the speed limit between 55 and 60 MPH when the police caught up to them at 4 am in Miami. According to TMZ, the police said they chased the cars for 15 blocks to catch up to Justin’s Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder and Khalil’s Ferrari 16M, plus the two SUV’s in the group. But Bieber’s GPS system says otherwise.
TMZ is reporting that Justin didn’t go over 40 MPH and the GPS in the cars also track speed and the cars hit around 27 MPH at the 3500 block of Pine Tree Drive which is where the police spotted the men in the alleged race. They did go over 50 MPH but that was before the men were pursued, just after leaving the club.
The Miami police’s case seems to be heading downhill…first Justin’s blood alcohol level was .014 not .04…which is still under the legal limit but he is underage so drinking and diving is taken more seriously and now the men weren’t even speeding. Now Bieber did admit to smoking weed and taking some prescription pills, plus driving with a suspended license…looks like he may just get a slap on the wrist.
