The Kardashians’ have come swinging on the claim that some of their products are made in a sweatshop in China! The evidence that their products have been made under sweatshops conditions have not been supported!
According to E!,
After a well-known human-rights organization said it was conducting an investigation into whether the family’s merchandise is being manufactured in China under questionable working conditions, the family launched did its own digging to find out.
“The story is not true,” the Kardashians’ rep, Jill Fritzo, tells E! News.
The family was tipped off the explosive allegations after the dubious tandem of Star magazine and Radar reported on specuation that certain items from the K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle, a company cofounded by Kim Kardashian, were made under horrific conditions. The publications cited an unverified report alleging factory employees often work up to 84 hours a week in non-air-conditioned facilities and earn only $1 an hour.
But an initial probe by the watchdog group Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights failed to find actual evidence linking the sweatshops and the Kardashians. The family itself said it was taking the accusations “very seriously,” and after checking things out determined the report was wrong.
