Katy Perry was forced to cancel her Alibaba Double 11 concert in China and fans are upset. The pop singer apologized to fans via Weibo on Wednesday.”Regretfully, I must cancel my appearance on the Alibaba Double 11 due to a family emergency. I am very sorry to disappoint my fans and look forward to seeing you in China soon.” David Beckham will take over for Katy.

Katy had been set to perform at Alibaba’s kick-off concert to mark Singles Day in China—she had been named “global ambassador” in October, and would take the stage with Kobe Bryant and OneRepublic.

Maybe Katy is still bummed over Trump willing the presidency…hey you never know. After the loss she tweeted, “WE WILL NEVER BE SILENCED. THE REVOLUTION IS COMING. RISE UP. POWER TO THE PEOPLE. WE WILL NEVER BE SILENCED. #LOVETRUMPSHATE. Do not sit still. Do not weep. MOVE. We are not a nation that will let HATE lead us. Fight for what is RIGHT.”
