Did you hear about that Catfish episode where the guy thought he was in a six year relationship with Katy Perry—but he really wasn’t. You weren’t surprised, but Katy was! During an interview with Sirius XM’s Morning Mash-Up, Katy explained that a friend of hers sent her a video of the episode…but she wasn’t too thrilled with that poor guys’ catfishing!
“You know, like, my heart goes out to him actually because anybody that’s been fooled like that or just, you know, people have dreams, and people live in different parts of world where not everything is always so accessible,” Perry said. “Like we live on the coast, and we…you know…’get’ stuff in a way that some other people don’t get, and I felt bad for him. So I didn’t really like to indulge in that.”
The Catfish ended up being a young lady, Harriet with a lot of time on her hands.
