Katy Perry has decided to downsize and has put her TriBeCa penthouse on the market. Katy purchased her sweet pad 18 months ago before getting married and is trying to unload the property for the same amount she paid, $2.75 million.
Pop star Katy Perry is unloading the luxe TriBeCa penthouse she purchased just 18 months ago.
The singer — whose divorce from British actor- husband Russell Brand will be final in July — is asking the same $2.75 million price she paid for the luxe pied-à -terre in September 2010 before she was wed, The Daily reported.
The two-bedroom, two-bathroom loft on North Moore Street boasts a cherrywood staircase, a heated bathroom floor and a gorgeous south-facing terrace with a full city view, according to a listing with Prudential Douglas Elliman.
Perry, 27, purchased the 1,500-square-foot duplex after house-hunting with then-fiancé Brand, 36. The couple tied the knot in a ceremony at a tiger reserve in India.
The quicky marriage between the two firebrands lasted 14 months before Brand filed for divorce in December.
The couple never signed a prenup, but Brand refused to accept $20 million of Perry’s earnings that he would be due if they split the fortune she earned during their marriage.
