Perry’s hit, “E.T.” (featuring Kanye West), tops the 4 million mark in digital sales this week. It’s her fifth song to reach that plateau. No other artist has taken five songs (or even four songs) to the 4 million mark. Perry’s closest competitors are Lady Gaga andRihanna, both of whom have had three 4 million-sellers.
What’s more, Perry has been in the lead position on all five of her hits: “Hot N Cold” (4,915,000), “California Gurls” (with Snoop Dogg, 4,879,000), “Firework” (4,531,000) and “I Kissed A Girl” (4,067,000).
Along with that accomplish, Katy is also battleing Michael Jackson on the charts…
