On last night’s episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York we got to see glimpses of a doomed relationship. The episode starts off innocently enough…Kim and Kourtney take Mason to Connecticut for a sister’s weekend (to get away from the Paparazzi), without inviting their respective partner’s Scott and Kris, so Kris invites Scott to his club appearance in Toronto ( where Scott gets drunk out of his mind)…Kris went to Toronto behind Kim’s back, but of course she finds out via Twitter (don’t you just love Twitter). Kim confronts Kris for not telling her he went to Canada and he says stop stalking me on Twitter…harsh! He later apologizes and says he is not used to being married (lame excuse!).
“How would you feel if I went out of the country to work and didn’t tell you?”
“Stop stalking me on Twitter. Part of me is not used to being married yet.”
Kim then heads off again this time to Dubai with her mom (why did she leave hubby Kris behind?) It is in Dubai that she confesses to her mom that something is wrong in her relationship and she feels good to be away from Kris. Her mom confirms to her that she should be obsessed with her husband right now, not dreading going home to him. Khloe and Kourtney try to bond with Kris, but it’s a little too late!
“There’s something in my relationship that I feel isn’t right. I’m learning a lot of things about him that I didn’t really know before. And married life isn’t what I thought it would be with him.”
“It’s not normal to feel like you don’t want to go home to your brand-new husband,” says Mom Kris. “Your dad and I were obsessed with each other.”
Can’t wait for the next episode, where it looks like Kim confides in her sisters about her marriage problems! Is anyone else sad to see the episodes even though we already know the outcome? Kim looks so sad! Kris H. seems to worry more about his manhood and not appearing whipped than his relationship. Even though Kim does work a lot, Kris never seems sensitive to her or acts like he is so in love! Does anyone else think Kourtney and Scott need their own sitcom, Scott likes being wiped by Kourt…hilarious!
