Imagine you are sitting at a club waiting for the Jazz musician to play and then Lady Gaga starts singing…SURPRISE! Well’s thats exactly what happened to a NYC audience at The Oak Room, a club inside the Plaza Hotel! The Jazz Musician, Brian Newman is a friend of Lady Gaga. She sang, “Someone to Watch Over Me” and “Orange Colored Sky.”

According to MTV,

For her set, Gaga donned long blond locks and a leather-bandage-style S&M dress along with garters. In a video posted online, Gaga displayed her strong singing ability while forgoing her usual raucous onstage antics as she belted out the tunes for the cheering crowd.

The club’s staff posted news of the performance on its Twitter page as it happened, telling fans to come by if they could and keeping those who couldn’t in the loop. “Come to the packed @oakroomny @theplazahotel right now to see LADY GAGA — singing, dancing — its amazing!!!” they tweeted. “Lady Gaga @oakroomny right now singing LIVE!!!!!… its packeddd.”
