Shia LaBeouf may have apologized for his plagiarism scandal via a skywriter this week…in case you didn’t know LaBeouf is accused of plagiarizing the work of Daniel Clowes and the acknowledging the flub and plagiarizing a little more…but the very public apology has not gone over well with some celebs like Lena Dunham who slammed Shia’s skywriting.

Lena tweeted, “I’ve always felt, utterly and unchangeably, that only sociopaths hire skywriters. The worst part is I’d probably totally drop my morals, and my pants, if someone skywrote to me.” Shia saw the tweet and retweeted the message and then wrote, “I don’t mind creating debate with thoroughly considered artistic expressions but I don’t want to offend with a tweet. Sorry world.” But wait that tweet was actually Lena’s own tweet from 2012…and Lena tweeted, “Vaguely recognized Shia Labeouf’s latest twitter apology and realized it was MINE! Touché, Louis Stevens,” Shia’s character on the TV show, Even Stevens. “Projecting a lot of rage against my 7th grade boyfriend on LaBeouf. Think this is the start of something really productive #2014.”

Oh Shia…
