Lil Wayne goes after Cash Money and Birdman in a whopping $51 million dollars in a bid to end his contract with the label. According to TMZ, which obtained the lawsuit, Lil Wayne claims Cash Money and Birdman violated their contract by withholding tens of millions of dollars over his delayed album, “Tha Carter V.” Wayne says that Cash Money refuses to pay up,so he wants $51 million and an end to his contract.

Wayne also wants to be named copyright owner of all Young Money recordings (including Drake and Nicki). Sources close to Wayne says Birdman will have to pay up if he wants to release “Tha Carter V.” Wayne was supposed to get an $8 million advance on the album when he first started recording in 2013 and then $2 million upon completion. But he’s gotten zero, zip, zilch!
