OK, so Lil Wayne may be playing hard ball with his $51 million dollar lawsuit, but he’s willing to bow out  and stay with the label if he gets paid. According to TMZ, Wayne believes that Birdman’s denial of payment is a power move, but he’s most pissed about the $8 million he was told he would get paid for hitting the studio for  “Tha Carter V” in December 2013 and then the final $2 million when the album was completed.

Universal , who distributes Cash Money Records is looking for the men to settle and is willing to put up the $10 million for Wayne’s album. They want Cash Money and Lil Wayne to settle. If Wayne gets paid the $10 million then technically he would still be bound to Cash Money and essentially have to stay with the label, per the contract.

This situation seems to be very messy…we” be waiting anxiously to see the outcome! Lil Wayne has been very vocal lately over his frustration with cash Money and their refusal to release his album.
