Lindsay Lohan couldn’t talk her way ou of this…she was charged with felony grand theft in for the allegedly stolen necklace as conformed by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
According to Access Hollywood,
The 24-year-old will face the charge for allegedly stealing a necklace worth $2,500 from a Venice, Calif., jewelry store.
The actress will be arraigned today at 1:30 PM in the Los Angeles International Airport Superior Court.
If convicted, Lohan could face up to three years in state prison.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, according to the DA’s office, who received the case at the end of last week from the Los Angeles Police Department, who had been investigating the incident, Lohan allegedly “walked out of the store with the necklace†on January 22.
“The owner reported the theft to the Los Angeles Police Department, which investigated the allegation and presented evidence to the D.A.’s office last week,†the DA’s office said in a statement.
I never thought this case would blow up the way it has! But did you know that Lindsay was the suspect in other missing jewelry from a photo shoot, a friend and a club.
She was suspected of taking a $400,000 necklace in 2009 from an Elle Magazine photo shoot.
She was accused of stealing a $12,000 mink coat in 2008 from a NYC nightclub.
She was accused of taking a $35,000 Rolex from a “friend” in 2010.
