Foam hair colors are all the rage these days! The new foam formulas are supposed to be easier to use and I am all about simple stuff so I picked up a box of L’Oreal’s Sublime Mousse hair color to even out my color (this is a permanent color). I have brown hair and I noticed some brassiness at my ends and so I just needed an color to  blend everything. I chose number 60 Pure Light Brown since I wanted to keep my color in the medium brown family ( I may go darker in the winter).

So I followed the directions and mixed the color and developer together and attached the pump (for the foam) and then rotate the bottle around since you are not supposed to shake it!  When I though the color was mixed enough I pumped the foam into my ‘gloved’ hand and then applied the foam to my hair starting on top and working my way back and down until my hair saturated. The only thing I was worried about was that I had foam left over and I didn’t know if I should keep applying until it was done or if I should just throw it away. What is cool is that since you see the foam you will know if you missed any spots! It’s really as easy as shampooing your hair, except you have to wait longer (like 25 minutes) to rinse out. I liked the foam it was fun and easy to use and since I am not dramatically changing my hair color I found the foam to be great! There are 12 shades available!
