Lupita Nyong’o was clueless to the fact that she was auditioning for a coveted role in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” The Oscar winner told Ellen she did not even know she was auditioning for the revised iconoic movie. “I didn’t really know what I was auditioning for. I knew I was going in for J.J. [Abrams], but I was so busy,” Nyong’o told Ellen.
All Lupita knew was that she was auditioning for director J.J. Abrams for a “big movie.” “I guess I thought I should find work, ya know. I was so busy, I was working with adrenaline so I went in and out. I barely remember that audition, and then two months later [Abrams] called me.” WOW!! She will be playing CGI character Maz Kanata.
