Mariah Carey is known for all her # 1 hits, but her latest album, Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse did not even make a blip on the charts. The album barely sold 100,000 copies and the promotion was abysmal so it seems Mariah is back on the market —in terms of management, she is still going strong with Nick Cannon.
Maraih has allegedly moved on to former Def Jam president, Kevin Liles according to Billboard Magazine. Dupri released a statement, “I’m a very hands-on person when it comes to my work. I put my all into every project. But when I’m not allowed to do what I do, then I know it’s time for me to move on. Mariah and I enjoy working together and will continue to make great music together in the future.”
