Mariah Carey is soooo close to signing with American Idol to fill one of the vacant judging spots on the panel according to Deadline. Carey wants a $17 million plus salary for one season. Fox is trying hard to secure Carey before they have to set its taped auditions. No word on who the other judge would be!
Mariah joining Idol would be huge as she is basically musical royalty! Imagine all those people having to audition for the diva herself…brutal but kinda awesome at the same time!
