Mariah Carey and James Packer are engaged! The couple who made their debut last year (but have known each other for years) and were seen getting real close since then are set to be married. Packer, a billionaire asked for Mariah’s hand in her hometown NYC on Thursday according to People. And the diamond is a whopper with a huge 35 carats.
“As soon as their friendship turned romantic, they have wanted to spend every moment together,” a source tells E!. “They have a connection that is unparalleled; it’s been a very beautiful experience for them both. If you spend even five minutes with them, you can’t help but believe in true love.”
They were first seen on an Italian vacay in June. We all wonder what Nick Cannon thinks of his children’s possible new stepfather!
