Maraih Carey is looking to keep that big ol’ $10 million engagement ring from James Packer. The duo may have called it quits last week, but Mariah is reassessing the situation and as you may know she feels entitled to a settlement from her former beau for her troubles like moving to L.A. to be closer to him. According to a source Mariah and James are “currently in discussions” over the split, but Carey “is keeping the ring.” The ring is currently on her right hand by the way.
Mariah and James were not married, so we aren’t sure what needs to be discussed?
Well TMZ gave us a hint, even though the duo were not married, Mariah was set to sign a prenup that included her getting a $50 million settlement if they divorced. According to some doc TMZ obtained James really wanted to marry Mariah earlier this year, but the pre-nup sidelined the nuptials —or was it the fact that MC was still married.
