Melissa and Tammy Etheridge Are Dunzo!

Special LA Screening of "SiCKO" - Arrivals

Its a very sad thing to talk about so many breakups…So Sad…oh well let’s dish. Hollywood relationships are very fickle…Melissa and Tammy…

Melissa Etheridge and wife Tammy have decided to go their separate ways after nearly nine years together.

The 48-year-old singer and 35-year-old L-Word actress (née Tammy Lynn Michaels) exchanged vows in 2003 in Malibu. Together, they faced Melissa’s 2004 breast cancer diagnosis and the adoption of their two children, daughter Johnnie Rose and son Miller, that followed a few years later.

“Melissa and Tammy Etheridge are saddened to announce that they are now separated,” the “Come to My Window” crooner’s rep told People.

“We ask for consideration and respect for our family as we go through this difficult period,” the couple said in a joint statement.

We don’t know what caused the breakup…let the speculation begin! You know if they broke up because they no longer wanted to be together…well I’m cool with that..I’m just tired of hearing about cheating spouses!
