Saturday Night Live - Season 42

I stayed up late enough last night to catch Melissa McCarthy reprise her hilarious role as White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer and things went awry real quick! Melissa’s impression of ‘Spicy’ became the SNL skit to watch after she made her first debut at the beginning of the year and last night’s performance was fantastic. First of all we got to see ‘Spicy’ head from the bushes to the podium and showcase his special brand of expressing himself to the press and he soon  learned that he may be fired and that’s when he took his podium on the road and headed to NYC to meet with Trump. He was told Trump was actually in New Jersey. Spicy headed there to confront his one revered hero Trump where he asked, “Have you ever told me to say things that aren’t true?” With Alec Baldwin’s dead-on Trump answers—“Only since you started working here.”  Things got a little weird after that. Oh man will Trump tweet about this?

Saturday Night Live - Season 42

What did you think of the skit? Melissa is one of our favorite hosts but that pie sketch was a little forced. But I fell asleep so what did I miss?

And there was great ratings news—Melissa’s episode brought in 10.3 million viewers.
