It was a day of winners—Dancing with the Stars also crowned its winner—Nyle DiMarco. The America’s Next Top Model winner blew past morning show host Ginger Zee and fighter Paige VanZant for the win with partner Peta Murgatroyd.

The humbled model feels that his win is way more than him. “I think it’s really about redemption. Redemption’s about looking at disadvantages as your advantage, and working hard,” he told E! News‘. “It’s not really about me, it’s about the 70 million deaf people in this world and it’s just what’s been on mind. I really feel like this is for the deaf community and I’m happy I was able to contribute more.”

Petra was equaling proud. “From day one, that was my goal. My goal was to get him here, conquer Dancing With the Stars and he’s done that. He killed it.” AndPetra has more good new—she may be pregnant with her first baby!
