Meryl Davis snatched up the mirror ball trophy with partner Maks Chmerkovskiy last night. The dancing duo beat out actress Candace Cameron Bure and paralympian Amy Purdy for the top honor of the night. Maks was unusally shocked after wining his first mirrorball in the decade he has been with the show. “Oh man! It’s just plastic but it means so much and when it’s lasted a decade of running after it, it means that much more, and to do it with Meryl is a dream come true.” Yes…rumor has it the two have gotten friendly off the dance floor too.
