Oscar Pistorious Freed From Prison, Will Serve 4 Years Of House Arrest!

BT British Olympic Ball 2012 - Arrivals

Oscar Pistorius has been freed from jail and will serve the remainder of his 5 year prison sentence under house arrest at his uncle’s home in Pretoria, South Africa. The once revered Olympic athlete was convicted of killing his girlfriend, Reeva Stemkamp and served just one year of his five years sentence.

Pistorius’ uncle’s home where he will spend the next four years is a beautiful mansion, with a pool. He will not be able to carry a firearm, but will be able to travel to church and work. But prosecutors are still looking to overturn the verdict and get a murder conviction instead of the manslaughter he received.
