Don’t worry about Paula Abdul, it was a false alarm. The Van Nuys Police Dept. were dispatched to Paula’s home, but there was no emergency just an error in the system!
The Van Nuys Police Department confirms to E! News that police went to the judge’s residence after receiving a call early Friday morning from a private security company that monitors the neighborhood.
Well, it seems that while an alarm did go off at Abdul’s Sherman Oaks, Calif., pad, the police assure us that there was no break-in or burglary there and it’s possible the alarm was simply not activated properly.
In other words, Abdul was never in harm’s way. Of course, it probably helped that she wasn’t even home to begin with, too. Sure enough, a rep for Abdul tells E! News: “We can confirm that everything is fine. It looks like nothing was touched and Paula is okay.”
