Paula Deen will not have to worry about the racial discrimination claims against her, a Georgia judge has dismissed the claims stemming from a lawsuit from a former employee. Lisa Jackson, a former employee at home of Deen’s Savannah restaurant sued Deen and her brother for discrimination and sexual harassment, but a judge says she has no standing to sue since she is whit but her sexual harassment claims will remain.”We are pleased with the court’s ruling today that Lisa Jackson’s claims of race discrimination have been dismissed,” Deen’s rep tells PEOPLE in a statement. “As Ms. Deen has stated before, she is confident that those who truly know how she lives her life know that she believes in equal opportunity, kindness and fairness for everyone.”
