Ray J entered a Las Vegas hospital over the weekend for exhaustion and jet lag after a 32-hour flight from China to Las Vegas and then a 4-hour car trip to Las Vegas to attend the Billboard awards. But the real fear for Ray J was the possibility of a blood clot from the long flight! Ray is now back at home in LA and doing fine.
The singer initially checked into the unnamed medical facility earlier in the week for exhaustion and jet lag, but a rep for the artist tells E! News that he was given a clean bill of health “following an extensive battery of tests to make sure that he did not have a blood clot in his lungs which is potentially a deadly condition that can occur following a long-haul plane flight.”
After noting this was the same condition that took the life of rapper Heavy D last year, the rep explained that Ray J had arrived in Vegas on Sunday to attend the Billboard Music Awards after landing in L.A. following a “32-hour round trip from China” and then immediately driving four hours to Sin City.
