The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart (Williams) has responded to her husband’s divorce with a counter claim!! Porsha claims she helped raise her husband, Kordell Stewart’s son, Syre while they were married, so she wants alimony along with additional support for staying home and putting her career aside for the past two year.
“Her heart is broken,” a source close to Stewart exclusively tells E! News. “She opened herself up to being a mom, and now this has happened. She had a miscarriage recently [as seen in an episode of Real Housewives]. She is a great mom and a fantastic woman. This whole situation has been incredibly upsetting.She is standing up for herself, finally. She has stayed in that marriage and in that home for all this time because there was a child involved. She loves Syre like he is her own. She was with Syre all the time, and he even calls her ‘Mom.'”
Kordell filed for divorce claiming the marriage was irretrievably broken and asked the court not to award Porsha alimony as she is “capable of supporting herself.”
