She is kinda back! Lindsay’s Lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley resigned form Lindsay’s case ( tired to make a run for it) and the judge stopped her and said she had to stay on until Lindsay has a substitution of attorney filed with the court…whoa! But Linds is already on the hunt for a new lawyer!
According to the NY Post,
There’s more drama in the Lindsay Lohan camp. Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley — who quit following Tuesday’s hearing where Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail — has been told by Judge Marsha Revel that she cannot leave the case. A source told us, “The judge told Holley she can’t quit and leave Lindsay without representation. She has to stay on the case until Lindsay has a substitution of attorney filed with the court.”
The source added Holley was frustrated with Lohan because “she won’t take or follow advice. She is not returning calls, and so they haven’t been able to set up meetings with her and a psychologist for her court-ordered psychiatric evaluation.” So unless Lindsay starts complying with Holley, or finds a new lawyer in the next few days, her chances of appealing her sentence look thin. A rep for Holley declined to comment.
