CoverGirl’s NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara (in Black, Water Resistant) goes on like any other mascara except that it feels light, airy and natural! With nature right in the title the formula uses beeswax and select synthetic polymers to give you volume!

When I first opened the mascara what I loved most was the brush…more like a rubber wand. I instantly felt like I could achieve tons of separation with this mascara. Next I applied the mascara and I smudged it a little (which I think happened because the formula tends to be a little thinner than others). So I did one coat and if you are looking for that light natural look then you are done…tons of separation, thickness and oomph without being over the top! But when I went for my second coat…and it got a little clumpy and lost some of the separation.

Pros: Light, airy, natural! Water resistant! I tested it by applying it and then showering  that night and it stood up pretty well, I did have some mascara bits on my face but no raccoon eyes!

Cons: Smugdes a little…if you have a fast hand like me and can lose some of the separation with more than one coat, but you get some drama. I needed makeup remover to get all the mascara off.

Price: Under $10 at drugstores..look for coupons in the P&G Coupon booklets in your Sunday paper!

How I would use it: When I want that natural look and not heavily made up I would use this mascara. Like when I want pretty perky eyes with looking like I have on fake lashes or too much mascara, this is perfecto!

I am a little creeped out at looking at my eye (lol) and yes, I need my brows done!
