Itchy scalp, dry flakes, white residue…ewww its all a sign of dry scalp and dandruff…don don don!! But its only natural that we would all get a little dry during the winter and for those of us (me!) who twist and turn their hair every which way with a blow dryer, its inevitable. Suave just introduced a new hair system, the Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner for those of us who need a little more moisture and care for our hair.

Suave’s Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and Conditioner smells so delicious, coconut and Shea butter…it’s beyond yummy! In the past ‘dandruff’ shampoos have been known to be bland or have a strong smell, but Suave is upping the ante with this dandruff system. The shampoo contains 1% Pyrithione Zinc, which is the really dandruff killer (clinically proven to fight flakes) and is super rich and creamy; safe for everyday use. As creamy as the shampoo is it did not weigh my hair down, which other shampoos can.

The conditioner has a little less Pyrithione Zinc at 0.5%, but that’s ok because I don’t really use conditioner at my roots anyways, weighs my hair down too much. The conditioner is a little  heavier than the shampoo as it always is, but was gentle and creamy. No complaints here!

I did not have dandruff, but I did have an itchy scalp from wearing a ponytail. After using the shampoo and conditioner for a month (for my review), I didn’t have any itches or dry scalp so I stopped using it for now, but I will definitely reach for it  next time I have some dryness.
