Robin Thicke’s lawyer has come out swinging saying his client is being exploited after a leaked deposition surfaced yesterday. In the shocking deposition, Thicke admitted being high during the recording of Blurred Lines, in which the children of Marvin Gaye sounds too similar to their father’s sing, “Got to Give It Up.” Attorney Howard King tells E! News, “Robin’s moment of personal vulnerability is being exploited in the hope of diverting attention from the obvious weakness of their legal claim.”

Thicke also admitted that his drug and alcohol problem led to the demise of his marriage to Paula Patton. He admitted in deposition, “I had a drug and alcohol problem for the year and I didn’t do a sober interview. So I don’t recall many things that I said.”
