Ruby Rose Defends Skin Issues

Acne sucks, but skin shaming is even worse. We’ve all had some sort of skin issue in our lives, but actress Ruby Rose was forced to defend her acne after the tabloids pointed out her blemishes. “This acne belongs to me, not them, and you are welcome to it. I never thought I’d see the day I’d leave my beautiful country balling my eyes out,” Rose wrote in her Instagram story adding, “Yeah it sucks..for me, I don’t see how it’s bothering so many others? But I’m a human. It happens..one side of my face is clear and the other is a mess. Dermatologist says it’s from the bacteria from all the phone interviews I did for PP3 and a reaction to hotel pillowcases (which I already know).”

While celebs may have access to some of the best skincare out there they are not immune to the occasional—or all the time breakout! Ruby even dished to the NYTimes about her skincare regimen which is extensive. She uses oils, masks, moisturizers and more for what she considers ‘self-care’. By the way, she has an entire closet dedicated to her skin and hair.

Ruby was also criticized for her thin physique! “It is very important to know what an eating disorder is, to know how to speak about it properly when you have such a platform such as a national newspaper. From the bottom of my heart I am sorry if those stories triggered anything in anyone,” Rose wrote on Instagram.Ruby has shut down the comments on her more recent Instagram photos and we’re not sure if its all related! Celebs are flawed, period!! No apologies or explanations!
