Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling has stayed pretty mum on his relationship with Eva Mendes—they even secretly had two daughters but yesterday he gushed about her after he won the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy award for La La Land. But first he started with a joke—“This isn’t the first time I’ve been mistaken for Ryan Reynolds, but it’s getting out of hand. Ryan, obviously there’s been some kind of mistake, but I’m up here if you don’t mind.”

Then Ryan thanked co-star Emma Stone and  director Damien Chazelle before publicly gushing over his ‘lady’ Eva Mendes—although he never said her name.“I would like to try to thank one person properly and say while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second, and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer. If she hadn’t have taken all that on so that I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me today. So, sweetheart, thank you. To my daughters, Amada and Esmeralda, I love you. And if I may, I would like to dedicate this to the memory of her brother, Juan Carlos Mendez.” Cue the tears—if you saw the speech you might have felt the tears welling up in the corners of your eyes.

Side note did you catch Ryan Gosling kiss Andrew Garfield after the both lost to Gosling. Ad check out Emma Stones reaction!
